What Your Next Step Should Be

OK, you’ve joined this awesome opportunity and people are telling you that you need to start marketing. These folks are all about helping you with their good advice and they continue to say things like, “You really need to generate some traffic,” or “You need to focus on your ‘warm’ marketing,” or “You need to start advertising.” People are always full of good advice, but the problem isn’t that you don’t know what you should do, but rather how to go about doing it.

You just want to know what you should do next, what your next step should be. You don’t care if it is writing or making a video or what, you just want to path, a direction that will get you to the next step.

So what is the next step?

Well, here’s the deal… you do need to start promoting your program. You do need to find a receptive market, those folks that want what it is that you have. You didn’t need someone to tell you this. You are not stupid, but what you need is direction. Like I said above, you need a path that will take you from where you are to where you should be, or at least where you want to be.

Taking that next step takes nerve. Do you put yourself out there in a video? Do you write articles and promote them on multiple article directories? Seriously, what is the next step? If nothing else, be bold – carpe diem!

There are many different ways to market your product, your program, your opportunities and even yourself. You can promote your opportunity by blogging and writing articles. Yes, you can create videos and create a YouTube channel and if you put enough videos out there you can start generating quite a bit of traffic, perhaps get a subscriber or two.

You can also walk away and do nothing like so many before you.

The next step? The next step is a choice. Are you going to choose to build your opportunity? Are you going to choose to out work those around you, to out perform your last achievement, to do something so well and continue to do so when it seems that no one is responding to your methods and strategies?

The first thing that you need to do, that you must do before anything else happens is that you make a commitment. Make a commitment to your success. When you make the commitment to build your business – no matter what – then and only then will you start the process of growth and begin to really build your business.

Will you start recruiting team members like crazy? Who knows? What I can tell you is that when people have a goal and a way to achieve their goal the only thing missing is the drive to take the action and see it all the way through. People who succeed do not quit on their dreams, they become obnoxious to those that have no goals, that have no dreams and they become targets for jokes and arm chair critics.

This will happen to you when you become truly committed to your business and you should embrace the criticisms and the laughter – it means you are onto something if nothing more than separating yourself from the “herd.”

When you are ready to take things to the next level you will seek out the training you need to create a capture page, drive traffic to that page and convert those leads into team members. And you will do whatever you have to do to find that next person that is willing to die for their dream and you will help them and you will grow. This is how success happens and this is what your next step should be.
