Using Hootsuite to Generate Traffic

using hootsuite to generate trafficAre You Using Hootsuite to Generate Traffic?

If you are not using hootsuite to generate traffic, as well as many other blogging necessities, you are missing out. I’m always looking for more ways to keep my website “active” and to keep the content that I create in front of my audience and even entice new readers to my blog and for a long time now, I have been using hootsuite.com as a tool to do just that.

Hootsuite is a social media management tool that allows you to post to your social media sites with the push of a single button. There is a free account and a pro account and while I am sure that the pro account is awesome, I have used the free account for quite some time with good results.

Coolest Feature of All

One of the features I like most when using hootsuite to generate traffic is the scheduling feature. I can schedule multiple posts for different days of the week or, if I feel so inclined, I can schedule a link to be posted next month. The reason I like the scheduling feature so much is because I can keep some of my older blog posts active with traffic by posting them out there a few times every week or so.

So does using hootsuite to generate traffic really work? Yes and no. Hootsuite alone is not going to generate traffic for you, but  I can maintain quite a healthy posting schedule and that will keep my blog posts, videos and anything else that I schedule on hootsuite to have a continuous stream of visitors to my content. The great thing about using this strategy is that I schedule some of my older posts to generate some buzz also.

Will You Be Using Hootsuite to Generate Traffic Now? I Hope So!

So overall, using hootsuite to generate traffic probably wouldn’t be my first choice for traffic generation, but as I stated above using hootsuite can keep visitors coming to your site viewing your new and older content.
