Consistently Posting Content

I have almost screwed this one up…and I’m not out of the woods yet! I failed to post new content to my blog today….Oops!

And here I am trying to sell people on this whole 90 days to success thing….Hmmm….better get to it!

Secret to Successful Search Engine Results

You want to know the main secret to finding search engine rankings nirvana? It’s posting consistently on your site.

I don’t care if you are posting an article, uploading your latest podcast or putting a video on one of your pages, being a persistent and consistent creator of quality content will get you everywhere with Google!

What About Backlinks?

While I still think that you need to develop backlinks, organically mind you, I think that the most important aspect to ranking well with your website is to post consistently.

If you are going to post three times a week then post three times per week, every week.

I would rather see you post on a daily basis, especially in the first few weeks of your blog. This will get you a great start and keep things going well for you on the rocky path ahead….yes, it will be a bit rocky!

Key Points to Remember When Posting

First, No matter what, even if you have to skip a day, DO NOT create junk content.

Make sure that your content is always good, is always beneficial for your targeted readership and always delivers value!

I do a LOT of training and this is one way that I try to make sure that I keep my readers happy with my “stuff.” I am always trying to figure out what people are looking for next and then I try to give it to them.

Admittedly, this does not always work out, but it is a worthy goal that I keep in mind while I write.

Second, don’t always bash people over the head with your offers.

Sometimes it’s just good, even on your blog, to post other content rather than a link to your latest offer.

You don’t really want to be the guy that has hundreds of “sales” pages on your site. Eventually, your audience will fade as they realize that you are writing yet another salesy post.

Make sure that you are giving more than you are taking. Make sure that your content is what people are looking for and WANT to read and share.

And last, but not least…

Have fun!

Hopefully, you are not coming to the Internet to create another job for yourself. This is suppose to be fun, this is suppose to be a lifestyle changer. If it’s not, you might be doing it wrong!
